Saints and sinners and the guilt in me.

What troubles me is not guilty conscience but the certain knowledge of guilt in me. And there is only one way to redeem myself: acknowledge that redemption is possible. And acknowledge also that if I am not a saint, that does not eliminate the possibility of saints in this world. Goodness and perfection are possible. Men and women have proved it over and over again, but to escape the hardship of having to emulate them, I call them prophets. That is one more guilt
