Blind faith in God is as irreligious as blind disbelief is unscientific. Both of these are the ways of the lazy minds, unwilling to undertake the painstaking path of experience in religion and research in science.
Blind faith and blind rejection are the most convenient and therefore most tempting options . Plus, both look attractive from different angles because both have a certain grandstand appeal.
In the end, both are mere empty rhetoric and positively dangerous.
