Roots cruell exposed as we lose our parents( To Akhil Gautam)

I realise what you are going through - terrible, terrible loneliness, something we never speak about openly. There is a sharp but silent anguish, born of the awareness of either being completely rootless or or having our roots cruelly exposed , once our parents are gone. So sad that this awareness dawns on us in full ferocity only after the blow. I did have this vague and haunting fear when ma and pa were around. But after they left, it hit me as if I had never known it. before
