Life as an atubiograhical with an old producer playing a young hero..

Can I stop treating my life as an autobiographical film in which an old producer insists on playing a young hero and comes to grief because of this stupid obsession with self? Up to now, I have been treating it as a film directed and screen-play scripted for me by me with me playing as me in the lead role. How about playing either a strong character or a minor comedian in it - anything except a villain - putting someone else at the center and loving the work even more , because the central role always requires a more accomplished protagonist than an old fool in love with his own face !
